- English language at IELTS UKVI 4.0 / B1 CEFR or above — a Home Office visa requirement
- Genuine interest in working with vulnerable adults, and a patient, dependable disposition
- Right to work in the UK on the Health and Care Worker visa — the sponsoring employer issues the Certificate of Sponsorship
