About the Role In Northampton (NN2), we are looking for committed and driven Senior Support Workers to join our clients’ care team. Principal Duties • Give service users excellent support and caring. • Lead, oversee, and mentor less experienced employees. • Make sure all records and care plans are current and accurate. • Participate in creating a secure, encouraging, and upbeat atmosphere. • Assist management in upholding good care standards. Requirements • Must already be in the UK • NVQ Level 3 (or above) in residential childcare is strongly encouraged. • A pertinent degree in one of the following fields, or a related field: • Social and Health Care • The study of psychology • Social Sciences • Nursing • Guidance • Sociology • Development & Childcare • Prior experience working as a senior support worker or support worker. • Strong organisational, communication, and leadership abilities. • A respect for South Asian culture, given that the majority of the customer is South Asian. • Proficiency in Hindi, Gujarati, Tamil, Swahili, and Sinhalese is required; additional South Asian and East African languages are also acceptable.
